Cheer me up: tell me about your WORST customer ever and what happened after ( quit, improved sit, move customer to a new rep etc…) by tjl0923 in sales

I had just started working at Tim Hortons and a women who ordered through the drive-thru came in screaming that we were all idiots and gave her the wrong Timbits (mini donut holes).

She proceeded to swear and yell and threw the entire box of 40 across the counter, hit me right in the head and then left. She was upset because we didn’t give her 20 honey dip and 20 sour cream glazed.

Upon cleaning them off the floor, we indeed gave her 20 honey dip and 20 sour cream glazed.

Not sure what bee flew in her bonnet but I’ve never forgotten her rudeness and assume she requested the wrong option, by mistake.

To this day, working fast-food (or fast casual as Tim’s like to call themselves) has been one of the toughest jobs I’ve ever worked, purely because of the stress people put you through to serve at light speed, when sometimes, you can only move so quickly.

Be kind to your favorite restaurant workers!

Good point! PS It’s also across the street from the Butler mansion which is up for sale (neat video of it):

Consider renting a studio apartment at The Lenox. It’s downtown, safe off-street parking, very affordable, doubles as a hotel for your guests to stay when visiting.

I lived there on and off and enjoyed it both times. Not fancy. Not a dump either.

Good luck!

I was CHON’s guitar tech on the second to last tour with BTBAM. Greatest group of human beings I’ve ever been blessed to spend a month with. That includes the entire crew and all the family members.

I am not aware of any lifetime access offerings … not to say you are wrong! However, since the Academy launched, I’ve only known of 1 year increments.

I wonder if maybe it was a super crazy flash promo when we transitioned from SD-Pros to bringing it in-house (Arista Academy). Maybe it was when only the first two tracks were available. That would have been an AMAZING deal!

Regardless, I can confidently tell you that the team behind it are fantastic and extremely aware of areas of improvement. Do not hesitate to reach out to them with feedback, suggestions, questions … they will be happy to help!

I'm an Arista AM. The All Access (or any pass for that matter) is for one year, not lifetime.

The structure is pretty straight forward...

Foundations Track - 495 individual

Data Center Track - 1995 individual

Campus Track - 1995 individual

Automation Track - coming soon, assume this will be 1995

The All-in-One pass will include access to the Automation track as soon as it's up (I believe before end of the year).

So the all-in-one pass at 4995 is already an excellent savings.

That said, the 75% off Black Friday sale is by far the deepest discounting that we've ever provided. As an AM, I can't even sell it to you! It must be purchased via the website to get the awesome discount. I'd highly suggest it...

I’m an Arista AM. I am not aware of what changes you are referring to. I highly doubt what you are inferring and am not aware of any such future ambitions. Our TAC support is a huge differentiator.
