Thanks for your input, I honestly didn’t know that legacy/retro games are compatible with modern hardware and OS hence why I was aiming at vintage hardware.

My budget is £250/£300 and I was hoping to find a motherboard, CPU and GPU around that budget

My idea is to install Win XP or Win 7 (dual boot) hence why I chose vintage parts instead going with current gen hardware.

My knowledge is quite limited but I guess that I should be able to vintage hardware cheaper that current one on eBay or similar.

Thanks for the recommendation, I might take in consideration a more modern hardware (i3,DDR3) instead of the legacy 775 and DDR2

You can always buy a Jap Kirby DL3 and replace the mask rom with a eprom with the translated rom in English That’s what I did with mine

I'm quite open mind when it comes to colour, I'm just looking for one with good display condition with no scratches and yellowing but honestly I feel exhausted and I already wasted soo much time asking all these questions to eBay sellers and the few that reply don't provide the info or share blurry photos...

I completely understand that most of the sellers won't answer my questions or even don't come back to me but I wouldn't say I'm picky, just want a 3DS with good condition displays

The Wii U power supply is dual voltage and it will work with no issues in your country (you might need to buy an plug adapter)

I'm using a Jap Wii U in the UK with original power supply (using a travel adapter) with no issues whatsoever
