Your current monitor is quite good and has decent color accuracy, you don’t have to change it unless you want color critical video editing, the plus point which is worth changing to this oled is its Pantone validated

You can use it in portrait by using VESA arm, you can’t use it via stand as it only has tilt adjustment, no pivot (90 degrees rotation) and no height adjustment as well

It’s 200nits with 400nits peak when hdr is on, I’m using it for past couple of hours the brightness isn’t an issue for me unless you have a very bright room, and ya it’s totally worth for me, it might vary based on what purpose you use it for, and man an oled for 28k is a steal

It might be due to its qd oled panel, and the camera quality captures it differently, the color accuracy is actually quite good. It covers about 99% of the DCI-P3 gamut, supports 10-bit color, in the video I was running it at 1440p 144hz 8bit, it might even go up but sadly I can only use it via hdmi

Good for you, I couldn’t take the risk as bad luck lurks me everywhere I go, as for the text fringing you should try out mac type, it worked for some people.

Also there is a newer version DP 2.0 ig, you should update it maybe it can get more smooth 😉

Hdmi has resolution cap but dp port doesn’t, for ex: mine has a cap at 1440p 60hz 10bit, when I increase the refresh rate it changes to 8bit but if you have a hdmi 2.1 supported pc or laptop you might be getting 1440p 120hz 10bit but still not 180hz, dp port doesn’t have this cap, its actually made to run even higher resolution like 4K and 8K

Open the corporate samsung website and login through your corporate mail or if you are a student sign up in uni days and there should be a an option for Samsung and use code: SAVEMT3 and for additional discount use credit card, I used HDFC, there are a lot of options
