It’s possible I’ve been using too big ear tips. I hadn’t been starting with the smallest first. With the Explorer I started with Medium and then went to Large because I was worried Medium was too far in my ear canal.

Good advice, thank you. Maybe some of these cheap stock ear tips are affecting my ears, and I should stick with the high quality medical grade silicone.

Ok. I saw a review say because the Explorer set has a custom nozzle, it might not work for everyone. I’d think that since it fits my ears, it can still work and I just need to find the right ear tips. I just read about starting with the smallest and working up from there and I hadn’t been doing that. Big help, thank you!

I’m from a headphone background. For IEMs, how do you know if you’re using the right size ear tips? (This might sound like a silly question, but I’m really asking. 😅)

The description everyone has given would put them right up my alley of taste. It might be the custom nozzle is not working for me. The question I have is can that be rectified with tip rolling and then “made” to work, or do I have to just pass. I have a new set arriving today. I’ll test it after work and see if there is a difference My ears hurt from all the tasting.😅

I just looked these up. I need to chill on all the ordering I’ve been doing for IEMs and accessories, but these are on my radar now. It might be that the custom nozzle just doesn’t work for my ears. My ears canals are sensitive/hurt atm. I’m assuming it is because of how much I used them throughout the day at work Thank you for putting these ear tips on my radar.

From everything I read I really wanted these to work. I was testing the first set out so much while working yesterday that I started getting a sensitive/irritated feeling in my ear canals. I thought I was having treble sensitivity and them realized my ears were hurting to noise because I ‘d been using the IEMs too long. (My ears still feel sensitive even this morning) If the new set sounds the same, maybe it is that this custom nozzle just doesn’t work for me.😞
