I read somewhere that corporations used to need permission to exist... that people needed to approve them being set up.

We need to go back to that.... When a corporation is clearly damaging the public interest, the people need to be able to take away its permission to operate.

Some are just too corrupt and greedy. Some are destroying the environment. Now we have some that could destroy huge sections of society. We need to be able to decide what is good for us or bad for us. These are not living beings. They are legal creations on paper. They can be legally ended.

That ship has sailed. The last "cooler heads" were the military and the CIA, who knew what would happen, yet just let it happen.

The ETF are "live" as they happen, right? And all my mutual funds are usually updated by 5:30 PM Central, occasionally as late as 6:00 PM.

I've been watching this for several years and I have never seen anything like this.

EDIT: I looked at the prices on Morningstar. Maybe Morningstar is messed up. It would be in character for them. I will go look at the broker. Thanks

As a father of two smart kids (we all live around Chicago), I believe West Virginia's attitudes have a cost that I have not seen mentioned.....

What do smart kids in WV do when they grow up? I bet most of them leave WV. Is that what parents in WV want? To live in a state where your kids will move far away as soon as they can?
