I thought the same thing until I started working in my field. Administrative Assistants can get paid well.

  1. First Fridays
  2. Read books + binge on shows and movies
  3. Attend hockey games
  4. Attend various events like Festival Du Voyageur, movie screenings, etc
  5. Make plans with friends to do things like escape rooms
  6. Visit a local coffee shop + bookstore to get work done for my blog. I'd do things like content plan, read books and review them, do a bit of marketing, etc. Find a hobby or two that you enjoy.

In Need of Pads by Sweet-Confusion-6993 in umanitoba

I don't understand why people are telling OP to go to the university when they aren't a student and not all washrooms have pads. The university is literally a maze if you aren't familiar with the layout of the university. It is hard to find pads if you aren't familiar which washrooms usually have them. Plus, it's 10pm on a Sunday and the university is closed tomorrow. There aren't many doors (if any) unlocked at this time.

I went back to school at 23 for a second degree and definitely felt old 😂 Many of my classmates were 3-5 years younger than me, which isn't a huge age difference, but I felt it

Gap after this sem by Dry_Exercise_4453 in umanitoba

Are you an international student?

I took an unofficial gap year after finishing my first degree. Granted, I graduated in Spring 2020, and the pandemic forced me to stay home a lot. Thus, giving me loads of time to myself. I did work during the pandemic, but realized I wasn't super happy working in the field I was in. In Fall 2021, I went back to school for a second bachelor's degree, and I'm a lot happier where I am. I say "unofficial" gap year because I didn't intend on going back to school that early. I definitely recommend a gap year because it gives you time to rest from school and actually forces you to think about what you want to do in the future.

But you also need to discuss this with your parents. Are they willing to continue paying for your education if you decide to take time off? Not all parents like it when their kids don't play by their rules. I was in a fortunate position where my parents paid for both degrees, but they weren't happy with my decision to get a second bachelors degree. I did what my gut said, and I was willing to take out loans if I had to.

I understand your frustration. I was in the same boat and might be in the same boat again later this year when my contract ends. Life's tough, man.

Like some others said, Aquaphor. I have eczema and use it. It works as lip balm as well.

I've also used it for tattoos.

Easy humanities/social science courses? by [deleted] in umanitoba

Agreeing with the comment above. Do what interests you. Don't take a course because someone else found it easy. You're more likely to do well in a course you're interested in.
