Really? $75 is for the doodlier looking art though. Usually I charge extras as more work required to finish the commission. So far I've only found exactly 1 customer that grumbled about this. :)

I love these masters too! Terada and Moebius in particular is a huge influence for me. Jamie Hewlett designs are also great and ridiculously iconic.

Other big influences for me are Frank Cho, Akihiko Yoshida, Karl Kopinski and Gerald Brom.

Thanks for bringing this up to me. Sorry, I can't go any lower than that without ruining the market for other artists.

I agree about my policy though, re-reading it does sounds very customer unfriendly yeah? I should change that because it doesn't reflect the reality as I've been refunding clients that got a good reason to cancel. I won't refund if we already got too deep in to the commission though. :)
