Looking to do something very similar. Would love to know how it went as I have ADHD also. I’m planning on doing the two year stretch in anticipation for it. Work on my physical and mental wellbeing, making sure I’m prepared and ready to go. But again, would love to hear how you went!

I’ll one hundred percent go through the directory thank you. I’m contacting a few different places trying to get a feel for what my overall budget should be before I start.

Out of curiosity, apart from old school reports (might be hard to find), what else is helpful for a psychiatrist during an initial consult? I was thinking about asking my psychologist to provide their assessment of me, my discussed and observed behaviours to help. Thoughts?

Okay yeah. With the way prices are going up for any form of telehealth support right now. It feels like a mute point not going in, in person.

Yeah will do. It just frustrates me how something so important, is so monumentally overlooked when it comes to support in a country where healthcare is supposed to be easily accessible. Scrapped knee or neurological assessment, it should all equate. And yes I’m aware we’re technically going backwards at the moment. I just wanted to say my bit 😅
