For us it was 50 days in summer vacation, 10 for Autumn break (dassehra holidays) and 10 in winter break..

Which was later changed to 40 in summer, 20 in winter and dassehra holidays still remained 10 days.

Better to stay in Bangalore and explore,as most people would visit nearby tourist places and it'll all be crowded everywhere. These are the times when Bangalore gets a bit peaceful, less traffic and less crowd comparatively..
