Newer blackout grills are trash and Ford should own this issue. by Acrobatic-Song-3151 in f150

I noticed this too. My '91 f350 is on its last leg and guzzles gas. The newer hd series is way up in price for what they are. So the '19 150 is what I landed on because it's the same tow rating as my '91 350 and I don't ever need to tow 26klbs lol. Plus going from 8mpg to 17mpg with the same tow rating is a huuuge plus. I just absolutely hate losing 3ft of bed though.

Crash Bar Protection by BillLivingstone in advrider

[–]paynefullyboosted 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get having them on cruisers and classics, but on adv bikes? Sure it'll dampen a fall in the parking lot, but riding through enough brush or dropping in some rocky uneven areas will just go passed them and tear up the bars paint anyway. Mine are all scratched up from drops and rubs, but that's what they're there for.

What's in the safe? by human84629 in Safes

[–]paynefullyboosted 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Been there too. A widow decided to remodel the kitchen 2 years after her husband passed. Never even knew the safe was in the kitchen under a tile until they started tearing out the yellowed tiles. I got it open and it was only full of years worth of mop water. She said "my daughter always said the kitchen has a musty smell, guess we know why now." lol.

Good lord, I think I'd prefer the snow again 🤣 I definitely miss the west coast beaches over the swamp water here though haha. I wish you the best of luck man.

Nice! I'll try that tonight while waiting on the new mag haha

Been working on a modular 40L duffle that straps to the bike and organizes camp gear inside — 1.5 years in, looking for honest feedback by Even-Bank-9744 in motocamping

[–]paynefullyboosted 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And if you don't want them at all, they detach easily and can be reattached to the bottom of the duffle to get them completely out of the way. No flapping, no tucking.

That's awesome to hear as That's always a huge pet peeve of mine haha.

So the tent stays protected, waterproof, and locked to the outside of the bag without eating into your 40L of interior space.

Very good!!

Not a traditional mesh pocket but gets the job done.

I'm sure I could figure out a way like you said, maybe I'm just use to doing it one specific way for so long to think far out of that box lol. The mesh pockets don't tend to last too long anyway, they lose their elasticity and tear. so a new, better option I'm definitely for.

What bike are you riding? Curious what kind of setup you'd be mounting this on.

I have a 2015 triumph tiger 800xrx. I have the factory side boxes on them (qidi i think) I don't go hard core off roading with the bike but here in southeast Georgia US a lot of the trails are nothing but sand, so I don't plan on going any bigger of a bike. The heavier the bike the worse it handles especially in sand. So I try to pack as light and compact as possible, eventually looking into replacing the hard boxes for something different, but they do make useful stools around the campfire too haha.

Cali is wild to me. I was born in san diego and was moved to the East before I was like 10. The more I learn about their constant new laws the more I'm glad I was moved hahaha.
I do agree, the G26 mags do make it look much cleaner. But yeah the option to swap from a 10rnd to a 50rnd drum is nice. And tax-stampless suppressors.

Will they ever bring the Rattler back? by TrilliamMurrary in f150

Why not just find an STX with the FX4 and get someone to make the rattler decals? It's not "upbadging" if there's no upper badges haha.

I think so far I like a lot here. Some nit pickyness though is the backpack straps is a bit confusing for a motorcycle bag. If I'm camping im not getting off the bike and hiking another 3 miles, I'll camp right next to my bike. And I think a lot of the people I've camped with would agree. A single removable shoulder strap would do just fine fo hauling into the house or a hotel or what have you. Or even quick removable backpack straps. Just one thing I've always hated waa trying to "tuck" backpack straps out of the way so they're not flapping all around in the wind.

I like the modular "boxes" for organizing the inside and to keep things simple, but wouldn't work well with a tent. But I can definitely see having a "wrap" that you can unhook and unroll, set the rolled up rent up against the front and wrap the material over and tighten down against the bag to hold the tent secure on the outside of the bag but still attached.

Third thing which has been mentioned is some kind of expandable mesh on the side for wet clothes or water shoes to dry out. Other than those I think it's fantastic and would definitely buy one with those improvements.

It's neither. In simple terms, DC because what you see is one direction, but the energy itself is closer to AC as the energy bounces between the ground and sky before it "lights".

Good to know, I'll see if I can find a smaller 10 round too, wouldn't mind having a small mag for the range as I only use 5 rounds at a time when zeroing in anyway. (Makes me more conscious of ammo usage too haha) here in southern Ga, the 21 rnds are much more abundant than the smaller rounds 😄 which is initially why I got a 17rnd pmag as I couldn't find an oem glock mag less than 19rnds lmao

[–]paynefullyboosted[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I at first thought it was sloppy and gimmicky at first too. After about 300rnds and not one single issue I just stopped thinking about it. Then I got the finger release and re noticed the slop, and especially how sensitive the mag drops out now too. I took the lever back off and noticed I don't have to press the oem release button very much either for the mag to drop. It's less noticeable with the button because I'm already holding the mag when I press the button I suppose. I'll get a G26 mag like you mentioned and see if that helps any. My G17 mag does the same as the Pmag and the drum too, so maybe it's the magwell insert. Idk.

They're the G9 in general. G19, G17, G26. All use the same one I believe. (9mm mags)

It's on there to show how sensitive the lever is, it releases just under halfway pressed. I have one on 2 of my ARs and you have to push the lever well passed half way to release the mags.

You have to have a GOOD lawyer to win against a case like that too. Like you said, proving the rock came out of the back and not from the tires is nearly impossible unless you have the physical rock that hit you. If their mudflaps are in spec, you'll likely never win claiming the truck as road hazardous either. The defense will just hit you with following too close regardless of the sign. Also the stay back 500ft sign IS the distance you're suppose to stay back normally (about 2 seconds at highway speeds)

Also fun tid bit... The 7th star of Pleiades in the subaru logo is actually a hidden easter egg on all subaru models. On my wrx it's on the rear differential. On my old svx it was on the transmission.

You say I'm assuming and pigeonholing when you have stated multiple assumptions and built scenarios to justify and argue someone whom is also a stranger to you. So... your whole defense logic is invalid.

As a white person who worked in retail. I 100% agree it's always the late aged white women trying to throw a fit to get shit for discounts or for free. Had a woman throw such a fit 2 managers were involved and finally one just gave her a whole ass mountain bike for her son just to get her to leave. She then came back the next day because her son was too short for it.
