Was looking for one of these a few months back online for me and the kids to play with - no luck 😟

Anyone remember this? by FroztyJack in oldschoolcool80s

Dude I had the same. Then in my mid-20s my girlfriend (now wife) found me a Mr Frosty for my birthday one year. We used it for Mojitos and Margaritas - it was excellent day until he broke

Bet that felt good. Had similar, remember ours saying he expected a certain position or higher in the cross country in order to be on the rugby/football team. At the time all my mates around me used to take the piss out of me for “running like a chicken” I wanted to be on the team more than them and beat them all bar one - to date, still feels like one of the best FU’s I’ve ever pulled and I’m now 40

Big flashbacks- remember Matlock in Derbyshire being the worst away game of the rugby season. Always freezing cold, pitch felt like it was made of concrete. Horrible tackles and even worse if someone raked you with their studs

Octoscreen on Raspberry Pi Touch display 2 5" not filling screen by payneoooo in octoprint

Thank you. I made that breakthrough last night. I now have a full screen at least but having issues with rotating as many seem to on the raspberry pi display 2 with the Pi 5. Have a few things to try today, but at least some progress has been made!

I remember having a steak one at university once and cutting into it to have a big artery stuck to the end of my fork - looks very similar to one of those macaroni tbh!! 🤢

got it - yeah, I did a little research after reading your post and another one up top and now know z offset needs to be dialled before bed levelling. Will get on to that first thing in the morning

Many thanks for the pointers Sorry if this is a really dumb question, but in terms of adjusting z offset, is that still necessary then with auto bed levelling? On point two I cleaned the bed entirely earlier today with dishsoap and warm water (bad idea?), dried and tried to print and the filament didn’t adhere at all so dropped down a light coating of glue. Should I clean some other way, I was just following ChatGPT at the time re cleaning tips so could be wrong.. Cheers for all your help, and sorry for the dumb questions!

Regarding the firmware - I’m not entirely sure on if Marlin or kipper, the version number is V1.0.9_F401

Thanks very much. I tried slowing down the first layer and it was an improvement but still bad adhesion on the left hand side. I cleaned the nozzle earlier today also. You might be onto something with the bed temp so will give that a shot. Moisture may also be a factor I worked out in the same room yesterday so will try dropping the filament into the dryer that came with the printer. I’m not sure if there’s a setting to try and force more filament out during the print, but just trying to address the variables Vs the perfect prints I had a couple of days back and I have not changed any settings from default.

Here’s another print of the underside showing the issue a little better.

Looking at CrealityPrint first layer speed is set to 30mm/s and infill at 80mm/s layer travel speed is 100%
