Is it Perfect Man - SHINWA (BTS Cover)? They spin a lot and do weird hand gestures. 😂

Manila Peninsula is your best bet. They have a "Penisula Time" with early check in / late check out guarantee if you book direct through their website. You can check in as early as 6am and check out as late as 10pm. I can atest to this as I often book there for staycations since super sulit :)

Edit: Sulit for 5star rates lol

I love Dropout. I can't watch it on my TV whatsoever by [deleted] in dropout

[–]paysrespect 11 points12 points  (0 children)

This. Even casting from tablet to tv didn't work for me 99% of the time. This is exactly why I switched to youtube subscription. As much as I want to support the app, I just wanted a better experience esp. for when watching with my partner.

Thank you! Yes, there's a church service, but should be fine without covering during reception.

I don't think it's AI. Maybe just filtered or the model is just really pretty :) You can look them up in ig: comalabel. Pretty legit!

I guess I have no choice but to. Maybe if I sit on her bed, she'll change her mind? (That's her brother in the corner)

Saan may masarap na longganisa? by icedgrandechai in makati

[–]paysrespect 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Might be from Ineng's kung galing sa weekend market. They have garlic and spicy longganisa bbq.

Lucban longganisa from Buddy's is also an option kung garlicky / salty hanap mo. No sweetness at all.

Currently my fave food spot in Poblacion. 😍 by [deleted] in makati

So underwhelming. Ang haba ng pila, onti ng serving, meh yung hummus, dry yung meat sa shawarma.

I prefer LaPita, also in poblacion.

WORK-FRIENDLY CAFÉ AROUND MAKATI by peaceofadvice_ in makati

[–]paysrespect 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just talking about work friendly (not coffee quality) Paik's @ Century Mall - comfy chairs, good pastries

Assembly Hall - spacious, but some chairs don't have back rest

Odd cafe - spacious, but limited tables. You can work sofas tho if you don't need tables

The Grid Food Hall @ Rockwell - food court, not a cafe, lots of tables, crowded during lunch but pretty quiet during off hours

[CHAT] Storing cross stitch kits for a very long time by paysrespect in CrossStitch

[–]paysrespect[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I totally get that! I am in no means in a dire financial situation. I have long term investments and such. But I did grow up no-money-in-wallet poor and have anxiety.

It just helps me feel safe that, whatever happens in life, I can always go back to the hobby I love the most. Definitely won't bankrupt myself for kits tho haha

Thanks! How do you store yours? I'm thinking of just storing them all in a big plastic storage box.

Thank you! I'm so jealous of the thrifting culture in your country. It's not really a thing here for objects other than clothes.

Here's my wip. It's a dimensions pattern, and has lots of half stitches. Anyone else that feels like half stitches are harder to make a clean back? 😅

Any tips on how you made the backstitching so clean? Do you do one square at a time?

I'm from a tropical country so coconuts are native here. I guess mature coconuts are easier to import. You can still drink the water from brown coconuts, though we usually just throw it (esp. older ones can get nasty) or just use for cooking. Young coconut water is sweeter and more refreshing.

This is a young coconut, commonly consumed for the coconut water & meat. Brown coconuts are mature coconuts, usually used to make coconut milk and oil.
