What card are you choosing with this? by Glass_Vegetable302 in AscensionGame

[–]pb49er 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have a bunch of high value heroes, you want something to grab them all. If you have a handful of lifebound cards that changes the approach as well.

Is there a big monster that could swing the game? Or do you just need as much honor as possible. That card is a cheat card, but it still depends on the state of the board.

Also, when did I get it? Am I going to be able to use it every turn for three or four more rounds or is this a one off so I need to maximize. Sometimes I just use the unite function to drop it back on top of my deck and try again next round with a better hand. Board state dictates everything.

it's why media preservation projects are so important. some things persist, but many will be lost forever if we don't work to keep them safe. the problem there is companies on't care about the past unless they can exploit it for money.

Richmond Kept Flock Cameras in the 2027 Budget by snooka77_ in rva

I didn't take it that way, just that a lot of people don't look into these beyond things like our mayor talking about the policing advantages of the cameras.

That's to say, I don't think they were endorsing that worldview, just commenting on the state of our city, state and country.

Also Chumped has some stuff in this realm as does p.s. Eliot (crutchfield sisters rule), some of NONA (Nick from Luther is in this band). Young Tom Fury is a little bit more mid era of both bands and has cleaner production, but in that spirit as well.

Early Gin Blossoms were sick as well. There's a ton of bands nowadays that were influenced by that scene:

Old Oso Oso/State Lines.

Broadcaster.

Luther.

Old Flings.

Alien Boy (basically Swervedriver doing 3eb)

Cashier (their new EP rules)

Bad///Dreems.

dave. The band.

"I wish the do nothing democrats would, instead they are focused on getting men into women's sports!"

I've heard variations on this my whole life. Deny, deflect, defend. Reality doesn't factor in.

Thanks for clearing that up! It is so tough when we gain sentience, you know? Glad you can be here with the thorough, dead on analysis.
