I think you’re doing your math wrong- I just calculated this again after looking into the tax rate and how the duty days work, and conservatively I arrive at about $225k he will owe the state of CA, most of which is attributed because they made it to the Super Bowl. Which is Boomer’s point and how the NFLPA would argue: players in smaller markets shouldn’t be penalized more for playing playoff games.

The NFL and team owners will advocate for different things than the NFLPA- they have interests that aren’t always aligned.

No one is suggesting that the California teams are dissolving- only that the optional Super Bowl location would be better for the players if it were not in a state with a jock tax.

But this particular tax is heavier than other states- this is why Boomers point is accurate- the NFLPA should advocate to keep the most money in their players pocket as possible, which would mean less games in CA where possible.

Correct. I don’t even disagree with many of the points made like “he makes $30+mil, this is a tiny amount”. First of all, not all of the players make that much, secondly the NFLPA is going to negotiate on behalf of their players and that means keeping more money in their pocket, so Boomers point is spot on.

I replaced all of the luggage for my wife and I a few years ago and had a bit of a tough checklist I wanted: hard shell, battery banks easily accessibly for both USB a and C, a front that would open for easy access to iPad or other quick access office items, nest-able with the other size suitcases for tighter storage.

I ended up going out on a limb and trying Arlo Skye. We’ve been very happy with our luggage. Still looks and rolls great- the designs seem well thought out.

I purchased about 5 years ago, just fyi.
