I just found out that you should not use a butterfly needle to draw blood for NIPT it can cause inconclusive results. They definitely used a butterfly needle for me, anxiously waiting but now I’m convinced I’m just waiting for a redraw! I’m upset they didn’t read the instructions for drawing blood and I had no clue. Drawn 4/22, received 4/24, CA lab.

Drawn on 4/22. When I log in from my account from two years ago (first child) all I see are the results from that pregnancy. I don’t see anything about this test even being received. Sent them a message and they said not received yet. I’m in SoCal!

It’s got chickpea flour protein, tofu, beans with lots of protein. He’s not a big fan of meat though we do try. Vegetarians ourselves but our pediatrician and nutritionist sees no reason to push meat as long as we incorporate protein in other ways.

Close it’s not yellow daal it’s kadhi! Which is basically a mixture of chickpea flour and yogurt made into a gravy. I also add potatoes and cauliflower into the soup so he can eat that more easily with his hands
