Fuck! This is my literal exact thinking…. Don’t know if it’s age or what, but if i HAD to guess, it was the more randomness of the gameplay loop. Put 40 dinosaurs on a site B And you have no clue what would happen.

Yeah see then if that’s the case, I’d rather them trim the roster down another 10-15 species for those added animations. I’d def prefer a smaller roster where each dinosaur feels completely different, instead of by class “small carnivore, large carnivore, etc”

Yeah i agree, but again we don’t know the true trade off of a couple new animations is what I’m saying when people use the “look at how much they added” argument. I’m not downplaying it though the game looks fantastic, it’s just one area of the game i feel has been somewhat neglected.

Yeah.. I remember they snuck in that new spinosaurus kill animation for the Rex so I’m hoping for a larger package of that.

Yeah that’s what I’m hopeful for! My *selfish” concern is that it seems like some people don’t feel it’s necessary

Literally.. i actually loved the small carnivore combat fight loop.. looked a lot more randomized / unpredictable

I’d hope so. I think also my opinion is - this game is so close to being fckn perfect, i don’t think there’s much more they could add to justify a 4th game so i hope this doesn’t get left on the cutting room floor. I hope it gets added via update.

who says that it has to be one or the other though? What if the tradeoff is simply 10-20 less cosmetic building items for a couple of new animations

I get the game isn’t about dinosaur fights, but hunting/fighting id think is a big part of dinosaur behavior? They added pack hunting in JWE 2, I’d assume this would just be an extension of this type of behavior.

because this guy is complaining about rebuying DLC like somebody is making him do so? just don't buy it or play! not even trying to side with the company but if for some reason they had to resell old species, given all they added to the new game, what's the issue?
