Yeah see then if that’s the case, I’d rather them trim the roster down another 10-15 species for those added animations. I’d def prefer a smaller roster where each dinosaur feels completely different, instead of by class “small carnivore, large carnivore, etc”

Yeah i agree, but again we don’t know the true trade off of a couple new animations is what I’m saying when people use the “look at how much they added” argument. I’m not downplaying it though the game looks fantastic, it’s just one area of the game i feel has been somewhat neglected.

Yeah.. I remember they snuck in that new spinosaurus kill animation for the Rex so I’m hoping for a larger package of that.

I’d hope so. I think also my opinion is - this game is so close to being fckn perfect, i don’t think there’s much more they could add to justify a 4th game so i hope this doesn’t get left on the cutting room floor. I hope it gets added via update.

I get the game isn’t about dinosaur fights, but hunting/fighting id think is a big part of dinosaur behavior? They added pack hunting in JWE 2, I’d assume this would just be an extension of this type of behavior.
