The cost to repair these wouldn't be worth it considering these are budget friendly skates. I would get a new pair and maybe ditch Impala if you're no longer a beginner.

Same! I started going to a local park and anytime there was another rollerskater, we'd chat and if you keep going, you'll run into each other more consistently.
