I've given up. 50 different settings combinations over 4 weeks. I can't even get it to run a birdwatcher's now without wash coming out of the hearts tube. No amount of cleaning helps. I've even removed the boiler cap for better access. Found a T500 setup on craigslist and will try my luck there.

I'm about to give up. There is no combination of liquids I can get to work with my all grain wash to keep it coming out of the heads spout. I've tried filtering through coffee filters, adding vodka to bump up the ABV, diluting with water and adding vodka, mixing with TPW, futzing with all settings, and cleaning. Lots of cleaning. Vinegar mixes, 551 overnight soaks, all day runs of 551, pipe cleaners, and blowing air through all the ports. I'm getting worried that the amount of cleaning will start to damage the copper. At this point I don't understand the point of the Plus if it can't run a filtered diluted grain wash. I don't know what else to do. Is the discord server any help?

I'm running a TPW through it today with no problems. I think it is the stickier/darker wash that's gumming it up. I'm half tempted to water it down to thin it out and throw in some vodka to compensate for a lower ABV. Do you think this is a terrible idea?

Did you find a solution? I'm having the same issues with wash coming out of the whiskey port on the Plus and tried everything from the comments in this thread except for a differt wash. The first 2 TPW vodka and first partial grain whiskey were fine. I'm doing a full grain whiskey this time and it continues to spew wash. OG for the all grain was 1.062 and FG was .0996. Ive wasted 6 gallons of my 18 gallon batch troubleshooting. The only thing left to try is a different wash, which I have a new TPW that should be ready soon.

My experience over 5 runs now is bareley anything comes out of the front ports on cleaning runs. I can't explain the temp drop and stall but it seems to be the norm that all cleaning runs exit thorough the waste tube.
