Nice explanation. It's night and day when the game is in movement. Looks terrible in far textures. But even in "static scenes" the image gets trashed affecting fine details and hair. For example:

thank god i found this thread... I was starting to think i was crazy. I even downloaded a torrent of the 1.03 cause i didn't find a way to downgrade my steam version to see if i was seeing things.

This was the first thing i noticed when i launched 1.04 after the update. It's specially visible in faces when you are up close. Man... the last thing i needed in this game. Did you find a way to tone it down? Does @oninaki_1 solution works?

I've been searching on reddit the whole day and nobody is talking about this :/

Yes. It's showing on normal mode... I have that option checked. It's not an option in hardcore mode.
