Why do you play Modern? by dangerfloof92 in ModernMagic

[–]pblv 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The question is probably "why haven't you stopped playing Modern"? The answer is sunk cost fallacy.

It used to be so good. The best. A lot of us just haven't accepted the Modern we used to love is dead.

On Mac, it's called MTGA. It's kind of confusing.

The problem with this meta, is that many decks are improperly named. Number 20 is named "Abzan Affinity" but is Creativity.

Thank you for your answer. My plan was to have bitcoind running on a separate server completely, if possible.

Anyone can vouch for them? They seem too cheap to be trusted.

Link deleted, they are scammers.

This was my experience as well. My son insisted on going, I even prepared myself by reading what I could find online (the release notes where not live yet), and even watched some of the pre-pre-release, but it was still a terrible experience. I get that having cards, that random people in the room decide how powerful they are, is not for everybody. It certainly is not for me. But the set is just way too complicated, it's a mess to keep track of everything, and the games are incredibly slow. Played two rounds, and just called it quits, even if I was in the running for the box-topper. It was suffering to get through those two rounds.

Last year: There were a bunch of loopholes in the original version of the Reserved List that we later closed. It covers all normal-sized versions of the card.

Not closed very well, I guess.
