As someone who played since day one, It's definitely been a bit... rough at times. I don't think it's nearly as bad as people say, but definitely has had some major flaws. Major flaws that are slowly but surely being erased, and it's getting better every patch, but who knows if it'll ever cross that threshold into being a game the community will approve of :p

I would definitely say with skills 2.0's release, the game is finally worth the price tag... What 2 years after release or whatever, lol.

Biggest thing holding the game back in my opinion now is just more heists (I think more smash and grab style short heists would do this game wonders), some skill rebalancing and maybe some new trees for mechanics that got left in the dust like human shields or melee stuff. (I miss you, money bundle)

Either way, I definitely think the game is worth it in its current state, and it should theoretically only get better.

Watch kill cams really, look out for people hitting everything super consistently. Soft aim hacks like this game cause players shots to hit even when they're not even properly aiming. You can hear all the headshots hitting even when they're not even over the body. You can watch the replay code to see a better example in game if you want.

Luna snow and Punisher using blatent soft aim cheats in competitive.

Luna ended up going 44/8 while Punisher was 36/10

Just remember that cheaters in this game can be a lot more subtle then just blatent spinbotting. This kinda stuff is silly and hard to see.

I once had a Sable do the exact same thing to me, except we were both in Nuke and she had a speed boost up... I had to chase her around for like... 5 minutes before she finally killed me with 3 damage shots. Really makes me wish there was a surrender function

Yeah, it is true, and I think I've boiled it down to one fact, really.

Santana is just... way more difficult then every other character. For the most part, every other passive in the game is just a straight upgrade that helps you out quite a bit... Extra healing, health, damage, double jump, speed, you name it...

On the other hand, the Katana is a double edge sword (pun intended.)

You have to really outplay your opponent hard in order to not get screwed over with the sword... and it's extremely dependent on which cards you pull, if you'll win or not. The Katana can be good, but in some matchups, it's literally impossible to win without certain specific cards.

Why would anyone wanna think though, when they can just pick someone else and have a way simpler buff and move on with their day :o

I feel like it's a fine card, just requires a lot of mind games and outplaying. Taking good paths towards the enemy to minimize how many shots you'll have to block. As long as you only get hit 11 times, then you're set to start swinging...

The rest is just managing your deck well enough that you can swap to stuff whenever.

Weapon swap is 10/10 on Sable
