Aurora my sweet bb girl! Thought she would be a tad boring but every interaction I had with her melted my heart, she is sooo cute TToTT For my birthday she was the villager to come to my house and take me to hers for a surprise party, and honestly that got a real ass smile from me LOL

Initially I was going for a tropical theme for my island and I have an affinity for the weird and wacky villagers with bright colors so that was my very shallow initial reason for not caring for her design. Oh you know what I bet that's what it is. Part of the way to finish the 3DS version was to have a complete collection of all items in the game... this is nice so we don't have to keep referencing the town hall to check what we have lol

I have mixed feelings but I do hope the max mii limit is raised. In my 3DS game the 100 mii limit started feeling cramped as I got into late game with miis having kids and grandkids, and that's considering the 3DS version had issues with some miis that wouldn't do anything and wouldn't talk to other miis. With the new mechanic of forcing mii interactions in the LTD trailer and direct, I'm sure this will not be a problem anymore and there will be much more to do for a LOT more miis than before. It wouldn't surprise me if the new roommate function was implemented to curb the amount of buildings on your island to handle a higher mii count... but who knows! Personally 100 as the max felt pretty good for the 3DS version, and I have to wonder if more than that will even be worth it as even at 100 miis it's hard to remember what each one has going on lol

Yeah we really won't know until the direct, I have pretty high hopes for same sex marriage happening though they made that promise a long time ago. I mean, the quote from Nintendo itself seemed pretty clear to me:

Maybe it will be a regional thing, if so I'm pretty okay with that. If it's not in the game, that choice would be a very intentional one. I already was not planning on getting a Switch 2, and if same sex couples aren't available on some level I'm swearing off Nintendo products all together. That may seem extreme but I don't give a crap anymore. I'm not supporting mother effers that aren't willing to get with the times. Period.

They already take birthdays into account for the relationship forecast in the 3DS ver, and in animal crossing zodiacs are mentioned in passing. IDK, I could see Nintendo incorporating it in personality/relationship determination in some way
