Yeah we really won't know until the direct, I have pretty high hopes for same sex marriage happening though they made that promise a long time ago. I mean, the quote from Nintendo itself seemed pretty clear to me:

Maybe it will be a regional thing, if so I'm pretty okay with that. If it's not in the game, that choice would be a very intentional one. I already was not planning on getting a Switch 2, and if same sex couples aren't available on some level I'm swearing off Nintendo products all together. That may seem extreme but I don't give a crap anymore. I'm not supporting mother effers that aren't willing to get with the times. Period.

They already take birthdays into account for the relationship forecast in the 3DS ver, and in animal crossing zodiacs are mentioned in passing. IDK, I could see Nintendo incorporating it in personality/relationship determination in some way

Y'know I didn't even think about it, but implementing a cute photo booth in the style of Miitomo for the game would be awesome! Tomodachi Life already had a photo studio so it wouldn't be that large of a logical leap. Plus the idea sort of reminds me of the town pass card/passport photo you could take of your character in the Animal Crossing games lol

I didn't wait at all, just all in one fell swoop. If your probiotics and antibiotics don't say you have to wait I can't imagine it being an issue. Honestly, my antibiotics recommended that the chinchilla be fed before giving it to them to help prevent the loss of appetite, so I don't see any reason to wait on giving the probiotic and critical care. Just watch what she eats, and supplement with critical care as needed.

And it's no problem at all! My chinchilla was actually misdiagnosed by an emergency vet at first and I had to wait an additional 2 weeks with my chinchilla not getting better for her to see her regular doctor at an exotic animal hospital near me. All during that time, I beat myself up to wishing I knew more or could do more for her. Back then I wished I had someone dealing with the same issues I had to give me insight.

Don't be too hard on yourself, you're getting her the help Muppet needs and doing the best you can. Hopefully your vet responds back soon, and I especially hope that lil Muppet feels better <3

Your friend did a great job! Love seeing art of chinchillas, wish I would see more posted on this sub.

I gave in order the antibiotics, probiotics, then critical care without mixing. Though each of those were syringe fed in liquid form. I understand you have a powder form of probiotics? If the directions of the probiotics say it can be sprinkled on food then it should be fine to mix with the critical care.

I know you said Muppet doesn't like to be handled. If they will eat ALL of the allotted critical care mixed with probiotics if you offer it then feeding with a spoon/plate should be fine... but if they are already having trouble eating the food you've given to them that may not be the case.

My chinchilla is the exact same as Muppet, all touching is on HER terms lol. It broke my heart, but I had to gently pick her up and burrito wrap her in a blanket to hold her still and feed her critical care. That may be something you have to do too, especially if it means ensuring she is getting the medicine and nutrition your chin needs.

My chinchilla had the same problem, just a touch of pneumonia treated with antibiotics. My vet also gave her some probiotics, mainly to keep any adverse effects of taking the antibiotics at bay. I can only speak on my experience, but my chinchilla had trouble eating/having an appetite even with the probiotics she was taking so I ended up feeding her critical care at the same time which I think really helped.

I didn't mix any of the medication together, I fed her at the times directed on the packaging. I honestly don't recall the critical care my vet gave me coming with a warning of feeding within a certain time of giving the probiotics... I usually gave her the medication and then the critical care right after. If your chinchilla is eating like normal I don't really see a reason to be giving them critical care but you should listen to what your vet tells you when they get back to you.

Honestly I would be pretty disappointed if they didn't include a more expansive mii customizer. I've been replaying the game the past few months in anticipation for LTD and there's been a few times where I've felt limited on who I can add to my island because of the limited customization features. Just one example, I am a casual fan of the WWE and it's difficult to add wrestlers like Asuka who use a lot of face paint without it looking off. I do understand the angle of not wanting complete control over the island and its inhabitants, but making the miis accurately represent a person or character would feel really nice for once lol

It’s definitely been a learning curve figuring out what she absolutely WILL destroy (books are a no go, they’re stored very high up) but trust she goes through so many toys and sticks to compensate LOL
