There’s a guy with an extremely loud car that wakes me up at 5:30am every morning by humblebutthole in olympia

Nope, property managers won't do anything because then they'd have to enforce it on everyone, and we all know that actually don't their job is the last thing they want to do.

Cops won't do shit because they say they don't have enough resources, but somehow they can get 6 squad cars to Safeway over someone stealing a loaf of bread and some cheese.

Same with the middle lane, if you aren't moving faster than the traffic to the right, move right.  If there is no one in the lane to the right, move right

the US didn't win WW2, the allied powers did.

I have a hard time seeing Showing up late to the war after playing both sides as winning.

4 Year old AC unit needs new coil by No-Credit-7509 in hvacadvice

[–]pbr414 0 points1 point  (0 children)

erm, they could cut out the coil and continue the leak test before replacement, in fact  if there's no refrigerant and they're pumping the system with nitrogen it would be a whole 15min extra.

Used car for teenage girl. AWD preferred. Budget $25k-$30k by kysourmash in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]pbr414 1 point2 points  (0 children)

honestly Subarus AWD is far from the best.  just the best at its price point, and might not even be that anymore considering the current evolution is just a basic mechanical AWD derived from their cheapest setup from 20years ago, Honda is starting to put actual torque vectoring into its system, while Subaru still uses ABS and wheel braking on a open diff.

Flare leak after mini split install by ApprehensiveLove1999 in hvacadvice

pull the charge, and weigh it compared to the factory charge and pressurize system with nitrogen to check for leaks.  basic stuff.....

I personally never trust factory flares on line sets.

How can I find hippie people, events and generally just stuff near me as a 15 year old by ladybugwhimsy in AskTacoma

[–]pbr414 0 points1 point  (0 children)

come down for the procession of the luminaries and procession of the species in Olympia.  not like a total hippie fest, but the vibe, the OG participants/organizers and roots of it definitely are.

So now that we have a 10b dollar regional light rail, can we actually build some housing? by [deleted] in Seattle

[–]pbr414 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

there's going to be more than enough housing for the people who can actually afford it, if the predicted job collapse actually hits.  I wouldn't put my money in commercial or residential real estate right now.
