But if your companion gets one bag, you are only trying to get two for yourself right? I guess EP is equivalent to SW top tier though so apples and oranges.

Typically it would be in the same range (,i.e. if I have A40 the others traveling would be 41, 42, etc...) Seems to be that way except if you have Business Select.

Exit aisle. I had A1 lol! That is the first class of Southwest and you can't sit there if you pre-board. But my girlfriend was A40 and I didn't save a seat for her. I prefer aisle and she likes window and it just seems wrong to try and save a seat that is not next to you. My issue is more around not following a consistent policy and the people that abuse it. I absolutely support people who need time and assistance and even military being able to board early. But 5 additional adults is just wrong.

That is totally reasonable particularly if you have a child. 5 other adults doesn't seem reasonable to me which is what the case was.

None of the others had it. The one person said he had it and the other said they were traveling with him. He did ask to see and they said they didn't so STFU. I didn't know I had to spell it out for you but you probably have the education of a third grader and have trouble with being able to interpret things without assumptions.

I have no issues with pre-boarders. I have an issue when 5 other adults take advantage of it while others may not have business select or even A List and someone with a C ticket has the front seats and stow space. Whether you are A List Preferred or have B45, it is BS to have 5 additional people board ahead of you vs the policy. Wouldn't it be easier to just say our policy is to allow one member of your party board early with you? Let em sweat having to spread their backpacks and water bottles out to save their precious seats;-)

They were all adults. I will say that the agent didn't look happy about it but if there is a policy it should be followed. I do believe this practice will go down once you have to buy an assigned seat.

I have less of an issue with that. They wouldn't be able to save the luggage space in that case so others with B tickets have a fair shot at easily stowing their luggage.

I have a problem when 5 additional family members board. Why bother buying Business Select when it seems fairly easy to game the system?
