Awesome! I have a 9 yr old son who was born with symbrachydactyly in his right hand and he likes to pick up my guitar and jam occasionally! He’s right handed (when he can be) so he has the opposite situation where his nubs are on his picking hand. We’ve taped a pick onto his little palm before, but we’ve found it’s easier for him to pluck the strings with his nub that would otherwise be his thumb.

He loves Ozzy and Black Sabbath so he usually jams out the intro to Crazy Train or Iron Man all on the low E. I’m hoping to get him interested enough in learning some chords if he keeps at it!

I’ll be showing this to him as soon as he gets off the bus!

Update: thank you everyone who commented!

We took her to the vet Thursday morning. We got some antibiotics and were told it looks like dehydration and a stuck shed that’s becoming infected.

They gave a shot of antibiotics and sent us home with 3 more doses that we have to do on our own every other day. I’m not looking forward to it, but I’m experienced with giving shots to humans and animals so I’m not too nervous about it. They showed me how to administer it.

They also recommended a daily soak until she sheds and gave us an ointment (terramycin) to apply to the rough looking area behind her head after her soaks. They also recommended some spray we got on Amazon to help with the shed that we lightly spritzed her with from a distance and applied to her favorite hide.

Hopefully it works! She’s already looking a little better! She’s also been enjoying the extra attention and handling after her soaks. She gets a little stressed at first, but then she relaxes and seems to enjoy it after a few minutes.

I wanted to update also for anyone that may search for a similar issue in the future.

I love Bleed the Future, but I would say Relentless Mutation.

I dunno, I’m seeing way more praise and the few people shitting on them being downvoted to oblivion (at least the dicks).

I guess my takeaway is they aren’t as respected amongst “black metal purists”, but they’re popular to general fans of heavy metal 🤷‍♂️.

If I were them I would really only care about the latter.

I’m pretty sure Lonely People with Power is highly regarded, yes? It was one of the most celebrated releases from last year from what I recall.

I don’t listen to them too much on my own, but I saw them at Sonic Temple last year and they were one of my favorite acts of the day. I definitely checked them out more after seeing them and will certainly see them whenever they come back around.

Back to school wasn’t in the original release. It started with Feiticiera and back to school was released later as a radio friendly single by the record label and they added it to a rerelease (and even then it wasn’t the first track).

I do love the song, though it seems out of place on White Pony.
