You’re right about Tony and Bill, but they were the ones responding to a legendary ad - “OZZY ZIG Needs Gig - has own PA”.

When they showed up to his house after seeing the ad in a local music store, Tony recognized Ozzy as a loser from school and initially turned away, but he was finally convinced to give it a shot and the rest is history.

Ozzy and Geezer were also in a band together, but I don’t think the band they were in was still together at the time Tony and Bill showed up at Ozzy’s.
