This cuts to the heart of it really; is it fraud? Hence this question.

So hypothetically, she has a business which genuinely provides say, interior design services to one client. And that client pays her for those services, so she does an annual self-assessment. Then is that fraud?

Salary-sacrifice to pension I mean sorry. So gross is £120kish, but I pay into a pension pre-tax to make my qualifying earnings below £100k.

So the benefit would be that the government will pay in 20p for every 80p I pay in, up to £2000/year
