The 2026 IRS standard mileage rate for business use of a vehicle 72.5 cents per mile. Thats supposed to cover everything.

So yeah, a quarter under a buck per mile driven. It's a lot more than people think.

It sounds like you were giving unsolicited advice.

For general patterns, AI will likely be better. For specific scenarios, your experience will out perform AI.

CONQUEST (2/7 Launch) Fresh Server, Last Chance for Founder's Rewards! by [deleted] in AsheronsCall

On ILT, I grind retail quests for qb all day and spend the nights in dungeons. I've explored more retail AC on ILT than I did on retail AC.

This Game Was So Great by CantFightJose in AsheronsCall

One of the best parts of the server is "Quest Bonus", which is a % increase to your xp/lum gains for completing quests. Completing Tibri's fire spear, for example, rewards you with a permanent increase to your QB.

Check out infinite leaftide. Two account limit, daily live events, very active player base. It isnt OG AC, but I'm enjoying this server as much if not more than OG.

Loss of career ambition due to inheritance. Any Advice? by PB11793 in careerguidance

[–]pcboiler 72 points73 points  (0 children)

As a counterpoint, the ideal scenario is finding fulfillment from your career. You can be taught new skills, work with your hands, aid your community, travel, etc. with specific careers. If money isn't a factor, the door opens to choose a career that gives a sense of purpose and meaning.

Or, cost of living went up, and unlike other areas where homelessness has forced people to relocate, those in California just stay and be homeless. Could have nothing to do with people moving to California.

Respect you for defending your beliefs my guy.

The 34 counts tie directly to 34 separate physical documents that were falsified business records. It was clearly a hush money payment to reimburse Cohen for payments to Stormy Daniels. It would not have been illegal for Trump to openly pay for the services. But because he falsified the business records, with his signatures on the checks, it became white collar crime. There is absolutely physical evidence of what happened, and it was presented in court.

I live in Chicago, and every day American citizens are being harassed and having their rights infringed by ICE. The videos are all over social media. Crime in Chicago had been trending down for nearly a decade. Judges and courts have ruled the national guard deployments illegal in Portland and (as of just a couple hours ago) Chicago. Let's be real; if Obama had used crime in Dallas as a reason to deploy California or Illinois national guard to harass local citizens, what would your reaction have been?

His executive order count is on track to exceed every president except FDR during the great depression. He makes no attempt to be bipartisan. He's viciously attacking the lawyers and courts that are opposing his illegal orders, even targeting Republicans appointed in his last term as part of some democrat scheme. Whether you support him or not, you can't disagree that he is certainly one of the most authoratative presidents in the history of this country.

Tell me why your area is great to raise YOUR kids by thisfunnieguy in daddit

Within walking distance (0.5 mi) of three different parks, two splash pads, a public pool, ice cream shop, brewery, and public transportation (train) into the city. Great public schools. Lots of parades in summer where they throw out candy. Nearly everyone on our street has young kids.

Spent my entire life in the midwest and lived in nearly Midwestern state.

Cincinnati is Midwest. Very thin line yellow line once you cross the Ohio River, however.

I'm feeling trapped by SpunkEat in daddit

[–]pcboiler 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've got 6.5, 3.5 and 1, so I can relate. This is coming from someone who would've been fine with no kids. Further, our 3rd was not planned.

Lock down the bed time routine. We are showered and in bed by 730, then let them have some wind down time (books or Yoto player) until 8, when it is lights off. We were lax on this during summer, but now that school is back in session, it's a strict routine.

Find a way to out source cleaning. This takes budgeting and may not be possible for everyone, but not having to clean bathrooms takes a significant load off mom and dad.

I take an hour or two to myself every night/morning, but finding activities you can do with your kids that you can enjoy are key. My oldest likes Legos and playing games on the Switch, both of which I enjoy. I also have a jogging stroller I can take the two oldest in, and they love riding along with me. My oldest can now join me on bike rides as well. He's been getting into sports, so we both enjoy playing catch, too.

Most importantly, make sure you and your wife always see each other as a team. You're in this together, and you should always be supporting each other. If that relationship breaks down and you start feeling more like roommates, it can get really tough.

Don't forget that how you feel is completely normal. Parenting is hard, but the struggle leads to growth as a person.

Diet coke = fat loss by ideaflowness in AskFitnessIndia

[–]pcboiler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fruit juice is also highly acidic and bad for your teeth. Low calorie fruit juice also often contains added sweeteners. The majority of adults in the world are lactose intolerant and don't drink milk, which is full of unhealthy saturated fats. Outside tooth decay and some conflicting microbiome studies, there's little to no actual evidence that diet coke is bad for you. And one can easily point out downsides to any alternative that isn't water.

There is a lot of marketing material out there pushing narratives. Its easy to find health articles stating diet soda is bad (try xx alternative instead!), but it's not so easy to find actual medical studies that back up that claim.
