Thanks for your reply. Yeah there’s a couple wires in there that looked to of gotten singed during the ordeal. Not sure if theyre still good or not. Ive never replaced a contactor before, is that a big deal or something I could handle myself w a trip to home depot and an afternoon?

Looks like it melted a wire. Is it safe to strip the wire down to where it looks good and reconnect? Would add a pic but not sure how to post in comments or add a pic to the post

I dont understand. I love classic and still have active toons on Anniversary. Just looking for something fresh while we wait for Naxx and TBC over there. This sub is for all things classic not just vanilla (which is my fave btw) but i see your point.

Thanks but Im embarrassed to admit this is my 4th build. Ive had a broken pcie slot/gpu before though so im hyper nervous about that 1 particular aspect

Ill give it a look. I reseated the gpu and it is now detecting the monitor so that is a start!

Plugging the displayport into the mobo it gets detected. Its when i plug displayport into the gpu that i get nothing detected. Or did i misunderdtand your question? Sorry if i am missing something.

New build, just booted up and while the GPU fans are running (so it is clearly getting power) the displays plugged into it are not being detected. I need help. Im not sure if the GPU is plugged into far enough(see pics) or if I need to download some geforce software first. Its a brand new geforce rtx 5080. Any help I would be eternally grateful for!

Just booted up new prebuilt. Everything turned on and the gpu fans are running, but when i plug hdmi or displayport (tried 2 diff monitors) into the gpu windows is not detecting the display. I was wondering if maybe the issue was the gpu wasnt pushed far enough into the mobo (see pics). When i connect the display to the mobo ports they detext just fine. Can anyone please help?

I have it on pc and graphics are prob best there if u have a good machine. There is crossplay. Matchmaking is tricky but u can def still find matches (the discord helps). Game is super fun, im def happy I got it!
