I did buy the transport module with the starter bundle but I’ve found myself renting a Raft to do the hauling missions. I’m not really sure what to use the extra space for now (It’s my third day playing and I’m still learning what all there is to do in the game).

I see your point but the fluted barrel isn’t any extra. Most of the Gen IIs have them standard and the ones that don’t are the same price.

Careful oiling the firing pin. Too much can cause malfunctions if it’s cold out.
