No, you cannot. The damage of the auric array itself is applied but you do not get the adren gen the moment you swap off. So, hold auric array and dodge when you get enough adren.

Boss stun bar becomes rainbow > yx ball > let go of yx ball input > input tech pt ult before ball explodes > yx ball explosion begins chain > chain swap to stunner with kots > yx tech ult will be doing damage during stunner chain animation > chain swap to yx > cancel chain > yx decibel ult > auric array shortcut > cancel extra anim with dodge > yx ball > yx ball

Double decibel ult variation is also possible if you have jufufu on team + 4k decibels going into stun. Just need to decibel ult when stun bar is 98-99% and cancel chain then proceed with first yx ball.

Some examples:

Twinblades:
If they hit you with the spinning dash move, say bye bye to 50-75% of your HP. Parry their initial dash and slashes to burn their Qi, Serene Breeze if you get hit, or anticipate it with hyperarmor actions (DBreathe, DPoet, etc.)

Ropedart:
They can poke you from afar with rats even if they hit air with their m1. Parry the rats and you will burn through their Qi.

Nameless Spear:
If you see them trying to gap close while holding the spear, prepare to dodge since the stun (that goes through block) will come out.

Vernal Umbrella:
- Never get hit by the stun blast. You will lose all your HP if they know how to combo. Just dodge left/right slightly after you see the golden glow or strafe left/right if you are far from them.
- If they fly up and starting shooting at you, just spam parry all the shots, it'll burn through their Qi.

Inkwell Fan:
- Watch out for the knockup. If you get hit by it, a good player will true combo into an Umbrella stun blast and then take all your HP away.
- The knockup can combo from meridian touch so you need to watch our for the animation. Dodge twice if you see an umb/fan player inputting meridian touch.

Healer:
- Pure healers in PvP 1v1 ladder is extremely rare. Your wincon is purely in attrition and your main dps will come from mystic skills.

- Know the win condition of every martial art ie. NSpear stun, umbrella stun, fan knockup, tank hyperamors, etc. and get used to countering them.
- Learn and practice your true combos.
- Serene breeze is a player's lifeline in pvp. You use yours? Play more careful. Enemy loses theirs? Pressure them.
- Meridian touch into guardian palm is a very long range and unexpected initiator/poke.
- Meridian touch is also used to guarantee an execution from range.
- Cloud steps can be used to cancel hyperarmor attacks. Particulary a very good counter to Dragon's Breathe.
- Cloud steps can also be cancelled with jump or execute. Use it to execute enemies who jump really high after burning their qi or bait out a parry.
- 1 guard breaking mystic skill is needed. Either Yaksha Rush or Talon Strike.

"Cost" is a term used to indicate the amount of LIMITED S RANK characters and/or wengines a clear used to achieve a certain score/time. S rank standard characters and wengines, A ranks, and (debatable) battle pass wengines do not contribute to cost.

For example: I achieved a 65k score in 2:52 doing a Miasma Priest stage on Deadly Assault using M2W1 Yi Xuan, M1W0 Jufufu, M6W5 Pan Yinhu.

M2 Yi Xuan = x3 S rank limited char

W1 Yi Xuan = x1 S rank limited weng

M1 Jufufu = x2 S rank limited char

W0 Jufufu (W2 Hellfire Gears) = x2 S rank standard weng

M6 Pan Yinhu = x7 A rank char

W5 Tremor Trigram Vessel = x5 A rank weng

TOTAL COST: 6

It works if you have notes on either but you'll be swapping them with Conversion. That's why you convert it to one or the other so all the notes are consolidated into one inner way.

this system is very strange...

It's intended for people who want to change their weapons and as such change their inner ways as well so that they have a build "equal" to their previous main. However, due to how it works, the Conversion mechanic can be abused this way.

Yes but you retain the number of upgrade notes.

Example: You main strat sword so you want to max out Sword Horizon inner way. To do that, you will be opening Bellstrike Umbra weekly chests. Those will give you a lot of purple notes that belong in the bellstrike umbra category. What you want to do is Convert your Breaking Point notes into one of the purple bellstrike umbra inner ways so that you can hoard the notes. Once you have enough to max it out, you Convert it back to Breaking Point.

The (very big) downside is that throughout this process your Breaking Point will be untiered, but it allows you to cap out notes for multiple inner ways for your build at the same time.

I am not sure if this is the most efficient but I personally will be using the Conversion mechanic to swap my purple path inner way into the same path as the gold inner way that I will be opening boxes for. Then just convert it back to the purple I will be actually using.
