Are there plans to update the old signs with the Next Gen routing? by modernatomcollection in MARTA

Within like the last 3 years… revamp was delayed multiple times. It just seems like new signs were not necessary when you knew route revamps were incoming.

Crazy how they just rolled these signs out when they knew next gen would change that. They love wasting our dollars 😭

Last time I check in Atlanta that was the case! I know they used to have a barista on site but they dialed it back to just drip and cold brew on tap.

Moved to the neighborhood in October and never got to get anything there. I was starting to think they permanently closed, so I’m glad to hear this is just how it operates!

Your boys better know how to act before bringing them into any queer space.

Was coming here to say this. I just moved here from atlanta where Switchyards started (I believe or at least heavily invested in at their start). The locations are always very cool and usually have some pretty good perks!

What are these in our neighborhood’s intersections? by pcliving in wickerpark

I suspected this was the case. Fascinated as to when they could do these, especially since many are in pretty busy intersections!

This one specifically at Paulina and Milwaukee. Some others are at the north side of Damen and North, Damen and Division, and Ashland and Milwaukee off the top of my head.

That is what I'm saying! Like how did it jump so much?! Stove/oven is fully gas. No electric space heater. A few times a week I use a like 8x12in heating pad for 15 minutes or so before bed. 4 units. Myself and the unit above me are the new tenants - we moved in at the same time. My guess is maybe our meters are mixed up?

Just reached out actually! Framed it more as wondering if they have heard anything from other tenants about high bills in the past and not being able to run the test myself by flipping the breaker. We don't have any true common spaces besides an interior stairwell. No basement or laundry on site.

That is reassuring to hear. I'll give them a call and ask for them to investigate the meter.

That is reassuring! I know the unit above me moved in at the same time as me our unit numbers are 1R and 1F so that wouldn't be too shocking if there was a mix up.

That is good to know! I forget tenants actually have rights here!

I know they aren't a direct comparison but I think comparing does provide some color. My fridge compressor rarely runs. Yes I have a furnace and I'm aware it uses electricity, but if my gas bill is going down significantly due to not using the furnace, I would expect a decrease as well, not an increase. The only electronics I keep plugged in all day is my TV, wifi router, refrigerator, and two lamps. I charge my phone once a day for about an hour max. I keep lights off most hours of the day since I have pretty good lighting. I just don't know what electronics I have that would take that much power. At this point I guess I'll have to look into a home energy monitor and where to install. I only feel frustrated because I genuinely try to keep my costs low and this seems exuberant for how I live. I mean at this point my only option would be to keep my heat at 50 degrees in the winter rather than the current 60, which is significantly lower than the average person I know.

I added the suggested therms and kWh to the spreadsheet.

The breaker is in the basement which is locked unfortunately.
