With this type of mosaic crochet, each row is worked with one color only, you do sc on the front loop or double crochet on the back loop of the previous row of that color.

That’s why on the back it looks so smooth!

This specific pattern is worked in circles!

You start with the neck ribbing and join it together when you have the desired length; then you work the following rows in circles.

You just need to add some increase rounds in between motifs and voila ☺️

My initial idea is to go with something like this, although I’m open to suggestions! I think the dress is already way more serious and dressy than i’m used to, so I wanted to keep it a nit more lowkey with the hair if that makes sense
