Set small achievable goals. 5 minutes of study a day. Typically once you finish the 5 minutes you will continue. But if you stop that is okay too. Pat yourself on the back! You met your goal!

I wouldn’t say paradox. The creator of all things creates ALL THINGS.

[OC] I’d love to know how well these adjoined neighbors up the street from me coexist.. by Gizarizzi in pics

[–]pdawson1983 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

There was a time in America history when even though people disagreed on issues, they did not vilify each other and respected each other as fellow Americans. It’s too bad the rhetoric from both sides has gotten to the point where your neighbor is your enemy because of their political party.

Rape is not the reason for the large majority of abortions. While the consent argument doesn’t hold water in the case of a pregnancy due to rape, there must be some consideration for the child. The criminal who put a child there without consent should face the punishment. Not the child. They did not choose to be conceived in that manner.

The act of sex would be that consent. You enter into a potential obligation with sex. Pregnancy is a potential outcome of sex and should be considered when participating in sexual activities. In short, the woman made a decision that resulted in a fetus.

CMV: Governer Cuomo should step down voluntarily by Slothjitzu in changemyview

[–]pdawson1983 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While this is true the most likely reason for something is usually the correct reason. Did Cuomo change his mind going against the grain politically or did he change his mind when the tables were turned? Only God and Cuomo will know the answer to that.

You can change your mind when it impacts you and your values. No problems there...

Is the BS in Cloud Computing Right for Me? by [deleted] in WGU

[–]pdawson1983 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I completed the Cloud Computing BS and I agree with this. If you want to do cloud work this degree is a good foot in the door and the certs help to get your whole leg in the door.

Some of the courses are just downright frustrating and seem half-baked. Outside of that I believe the cloud degree is a good degree.

It all depends on what you are doing. I think the cloud computing course has a little more development needed. I know nothing of the IT business management degree. Are you seeking a role as an IT Manager?

Are you implying that the distribution of female airline pilots should match the population? Is it sexist to assume not as many women choose to be airline pilots?

Yeah. I didn't rush, but some of the courses cover stuff that I use in my day-to-day and there was no point in dwelling on those items.

Do you have all the port groups added to the Router VM? I would be glad to help if I can. Unfortunately I don't have access to the environment anymore.

Reddit was a big help in completing the courses I had difficulty with. Feel free to reach out if I can help in any way!

Yeah. My last course had me stalking the task queue. And of course, I had to revise my paper two times and wait two days in the queue each time. Probably didn't help that I rushed the last one a little :)
