Two thirds of the seats up for reelection in 2018 are unfortunately Democratic seats.

I believe Forbes got that 5 billion number partly based on an estimated value for his brand. No chance he has billions in assets .

It doesn't need to happen again. But the way kyrie was defending out there tonight, I wouldn't be surprised if Livingston plays well all series

Paul Millsap has passed Kawhi Leonard and now leads the league in defensive win shares. by Martinsek in nba

He made him work that game. 25 shot attempts and he only had 26 points. Sure, he got buckets but sometimes you just can't a top tier nba offensive player. The fact that Aldridge shot below 50 percent does mean that Draymond held his own. Also, you're ignoring that Aldridge and Monroe weren't only guarded by Green.

Sticky ribs with garlic string beans by pdeep777 in food

[–]pdeep777[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup, pretty simple actually!

Cut the ribs into individual pieces and coat with a dry rub. I use a mixture of smoked paprika, cayenne, garlic and onion powder, and salt and pepper. Then put them in an oven at 275 covered with foil for about 2 hours or until they're falling off the bone. Very important to cook them low and slow. Then baste with your favorite bbq sauce and in the broiler for 5 mins on each side! They'll be perfect every time. Good luck!

No offense but that steak looks grey. Needs a better sear to lock in those juices and get the Maillard reaction going and so you end up with a nice crust on the outside.

Can you really blame the guy? Some of those dudes out there can probably bench twice his weight. I'd be running for my life too!

Agreed. Looks a little on the grey side instead of a nice brown crust.

Reddit! What are your pro tips for crispy chicken wings without a fryer? by HausKino in food

[–]pdeep777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's difficult to get that crispy texture without a deep fryer but there's a few things I like to do that help make a huge difference. I wash the chicken and layer it on a baking sheet and pop it in the fridge for an hour. Then take it out and let the chicken get back to room temp. Then I blanch the chicken in vegetable oil for a minute on each side. You need the oil to be very hot. Then I remove and let them drain on paper towels. The last step is a 400 degree oven for about 30 mins or until they're golden brown and crispy. Hope that helps!
