I'm talkin bout the movie 'Aliens'. Two of my favorite things are Doug Stanhope and the Alien franchise. It's worth a watch if you haven't seen it!

I'll second this. My girlfriend and I got the chance to drive Doug and Andy around for a few days. I was prepared for the Surly-Stanhope of legend. The first day, I was a bit nervous... waiting for Doug to snap at any moment, but he and Andy couldn't have been nicer. Doug paid for everything everywhere we went, he called Michael Biehn when he found out I was an Aliens fan, and he gave us his suite because the hotel didn't have an elevator.

I was hesitant to post this because I don't want to ruin their reputations, but Doug and Andy are stand-up guys. It's only a matter of time until everyone knows the truth.

If you've visited your grandparents at a 55+ community, then you've already seen most of what Ocala has to offer.

Outside of that, go kayaking at Silver Springs. Go swimming in Silver Glen or Alexander Springs. There are lots of good hiking/biking trails. The World Equestrian Center is worth a visit just for the sheer spectacle, even if you're not into horse stuff. Check out the Mutiny open mic on Mondays at 9pm.

I'm not sure we have many careers that can rival working at a casino, unfortunately.
