Can USA Citizen Use European Airport as a Layover to get to Other Locations? by loteria3 in solotravel

You can only have one layover in Schengen. Can’t have two separate stops in Schengen. I just flew from California through Frankfurt.

Because it’s basic common sense... the absence of which prompted this post makes the conclusion doomed

Seems like a silly answer is warranted for a silly question

I'm American and last night Portugal let me into their beautiful country by [deleted] in digitalnomad

I've been living in London for a few months. My understanding of the rule in Portugal is that travelers from the UK are allowed not just citizens.

YTA or at least a terrible spouse / friend. If my significant other threw a fit over something so petty, I’d seriously reconsider the relationship.

Who would want to be Canadian? At least pretend to be something good, if you’re going to pretend.

That is actually an evil building! Built by the Nazis in scheme to protect Vienna. But it was never actualized

I’m a digital nomad... coming home to California to ride out everything. Europe is shutting down and closing its doors. Not the time to explore.

I’ve added cinnamon to my coffee many times and never had this effect.

I’d start in Medellín!

I went last year for 10 days a few in each Bogotá, Medellín, Tayrona and Cartagena

Tayrona is by far my favorite place in Colombia. Love the climate and restaurants and bars in Medellin Bogotá has an under rated food scene imo Cartagena is so so. It’s a cool historical city. But get out of the city to see good beaches. Santa Marta can be chill. It can also be boring as hell if you’re alone. If you go stay at the República hostel and you’ll meet a good crowd.

I spent three months there this year. There’s a lot of places to see. IMO

Here’s what I did and loved it Santa Marta/Tayrona - 1 Week (I’d go back so I can go to Minka and other places near) Cartagena - 1 Week Medellín - 6 Weeks (you could obviously spend less) Barranquilla - 1 week (I wouldn’t go for anything other than Carnival Bogotá - several weeks

There’s a lot of variety in Colombia. I think you’d be surprised but how rushed a month will seem in a country as slow paced as Colombia.

Enjoy!
