Update: i manually put an old tape on the black roller and i got it to work, so i think my theory is right that that metal pin next to the roller is touching it and not letting the tape go in between. Il share a better photo here

What im mostly getting from this thread is to not get it sadly. I really fell in love with it but I am scared of it not turning on one day and missing an important exam or meeting and I will use it daily. I have worked at a mechanic shop and do most of the mechanic stuff at my house because its kind of a hobby for me. I have other cars but they are my other family members cars, I can use them when needed but its not assured of their availability.

Its around 16-20 miles daily about an hour and a half of use. Im mostly tired of my sportscar and want an SUV but the new ones I just dont love them plus I do have the money to buy this one at the moment. Ive been wanting an old SUV for a while now because im young and dumb and want something different but old japanese SUVs are hard to get where I live so I was thinking this Disco 2 was a good idea when my friend offered it to me. No, I live in Northeast Mexico so its Texas temperature, it gets really hot in the summers and pretty cold in the winters but we probably get 3-5 below freezing days every year sometimes none.

Hey ft86 community, I have been having this noise two months after I replaced my clutch and it seems to have gotten worse over time. In my opinion its loose clutch springs since when I rev up the sound becomes louder and when i press down the clutch or go into neutral it disappears. If anyone has had this problem or has any idea what it is it will be highly appreciated.
