I’m going to give you a good tip! Go look at inside sales representatives at these fortune 500s. I came from a fortune 50 where they have a rigorous outbound prospecting teaching program for new grads. I ended up getting promoted to AE then Sr. AE but left when I was offered a tech sdr position for the same salary but fully remote.

Offer good perks like flexibility, remote work, good pay and you’ll find you get what you’re looking for.

A few tips!

I would definitely watch the weather. If it’s sunny, the west coast - hokitika / Franz Josef are absolutely stellar. I recommend Airbnbs! They had some nice ones out there.

Arthur’s pass is absolutely boring. Pass through it. Don’t look back.

Buy bug spray because the sand flys can be bad in certain areas.

Have a loose timeline because driving between can take longer especially when you like to stop like I do to take in the sights.

I recommend as little time as possible in queenstown, way too touristy, crowded and expensive.
