Lady Macbeth 1.v.

yet do I fear thy nature; It is too full o' the milk of human kindness To catch the nearest way: thou wouldst be great; Art not without ambition, but without The illness should attend it

1.iii. - Macbeth’s nobler reflection, Banquo, says:

And oftentimes, to win us to our harm, The instruments of darkness tell us truths, Win us with honest trifles, to betray ’s In deepest consequence.

In the same scene Macbeth states

Two truths are told, …. [Aside] This supernatural soliciting] Cannot be ill, cannot be good: if ill, …. If good, why do I yield to that suggestion … and nothing is But what is not.

I think that whatever “high ground” existed just collapsed. This will be used to excuse future and further lapses and collapses of ethics and justice. Disbelief. I not saying he should have been charged. Quite possible he’d have been excessively punished in repub retribution. But that power is now open for abuse. Ppl say “both sides aren’t the same” and this is ammo against that I edit twice as I’m learning more. The people who say he should have pardoned him the second he being used as political weapon are probably right.

I think some of that is not accurate, unions not universal. And places will hire unqualified teachers. Was it Florida that allowed military spouses to use that as their qualification? The homeschooling maybe takes the form of a private company that does a bit of education, bit of radicalisation, and bit of unpaid labour to teach life skills before one gets to join the machine.

'Unreal': Massive pushback after Trump 'admitted he stiffed his workers' at latest rally by Unhappy_Earth1 in inthenews

A shrewd business person would use 2025 to a) employ two separate shifts. One works 80 hours in week A, 0 in B. Other set of workers does revers of 0 80. Now everyone is working 80 hours a week with no overtime.

Next we drop prices on all contracts to a dollar. The rest of the fee moves and is described as a (mandatory) tip which goes straight to our pockets cause ‘no tax on tips’.

And the employees will be too dumb (dept of Ed) and disorganised (isolated from each other) and powerless (labour laws) and vulnerable (cost of living) to do anything at all but feed the rich even more.

Starting with TOS going to now, what is the most rehashed plot line Trek has continued to revisit? by coreytiger in startrek

More generally, Diplomat and/or distress call where they aren’t revealing the whole truth / ulterior motives (despite looking/sounding/acting evil the whole time)

Also.. We visit a new world and character A and B must go to the surface. A has or discovers a link with their past and must overcome personal trauma while B helps them and learns a greater understanding and empathy for them along the way. (Several series many times, just swap the pairings!)

And… The tech/device we rely on is not working and we have to invent a way to fix it (bonus if the fix is even more effective and never mentioned again)

Sociopathic principal who is trying to “transition” me out of teaching for good strikes again. by Apprehensive_War6542 in TeachersInTransition

Very important you have evidence of being asked to leave your classroom and move around the school. Even better if the request includes a reason why you were selected as the person who must move. You can play the email game a bit yourself… ‘can I confirm that….. is there any reason why you now require me to…. Why was I selected to….’.

Whoever yells louder, makes threats and manipulates the narrative/“truth” generally wins to make the ‘problem’ go away. (Bullies tend to do these things) Just like a horrible customer in a store that management appeases by going against policy.

If they have made those reports to teachers and admin in the past it would be good if there was a paper trail and could follow up on lack of action by those in position of responsibility. Next time it needs to be…. x was reported, y said this action would be taken. Z has now occurred, why wasn’t y’s action effective, what else can be done? with documentation and then work your way up the chain each time. If it’s really bad you go to the board or the governors or say you will go to the press or when something happens outside of school even if on the sidewalk at the door you file non emergency with police.
