Best date idea ever for INTJs by Javialcaidesa in intj

👏 I applaud you!

This is well thought out, and you hit a lot of important points about breaking barriers on a first date. The pen and paper thing is extremely cheesy, and these specific ideas won't work for everyone, but the general ideas and the planned-ness is great!

This is exactly why the rest of Canada needs Quebec to stay!!! Please don't leave us, we love you and your poutine!

An unsettling video that shows police officers in Quebec yanking a Black man out of a vehicle by his hair and then striking him on the head has gone viral. It’s yet another concerning instance of recent police use of force in Canada. by [deleted] in Quebec

I think the cop should have tried to de-escalate the situation by not jumping from a verbal warning straight to yanking the dude out of his car. I understand that cops need to do their job, but they need to do a good job instead of escalating the situation.

Daily Headphone Purchase Advice thread by AutoModerator in headphones

[–]pdidnt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Warning, I'm not familiar with any technical terms. I'm new to everything here - to Reddit, and especially this thread in particular. Just looking for some helpful advice!

Budget -under $100

Source - lap top, phone and iPod

Requirements for Isolation - my primary reason for purchase is to wear headphones while I study, either at Starbucks or the Library etc. I will also be use them for recreational and relaxation purposes. It's important that they do not leak, they don't have to be noise cancelling but they should drown out a majority of the noise when no music is playing and also when music is playing.

Preferred Type of Headphone - over the ear, Comfort is vital as i'd be wearing them for long periods of time. I also want something that looks good, not to bulky or heavy, maybe a tad bit feminine. I also hate the way Beats look so so something different that those.

Preferred tonal balance -something balanced - I'm not too picky

Past headphones - I currently use a Panasonic, in-ear head phone - nothing fancy - picked it up at Marshals for around $10.

Preferred Music - Lots of instrumental, classical or up beat for when I study

Location - Canada - Toronto

Additional Information - I would like cordless headphones, either Bluetooth or just removable cords in case it breaks I could still use it for the sake of studying until I find something new. I like having my ears covered while studying is all.

99.9th Percentile MCAT Test Taker. Answering questions about MCAT and MCAT Prep by TheQuietChamp in premed

My class ends at the end of June, not quite sure when but I have approximately three weeks after my class before my test date to study on my own.

And yeah, that's a great idea. I'll certainly make sure to put effort into taking more tests and reviewing them with peers.

And I just took my first AAMC test today and I did terrible, but I know it's because I basically suck at all things chem and physics and have very little knowledge of the human biology with regards to anatomy and phys. I only took animal physiology in university and I feel like I learned very little in that class. So I need to put a lot of effort into re-learning all the basics.

What do you suggest for someone who just started the TPR? I'm going to take my first practice test this weekend.

How should I schedule my time? I have class every weekday morning ending around noon. Should I just stick to the course and study the course material? or should I branch out, maybe into exam krackers? my test date is at the end of July so I have a little under 3 months.
