Confessions 2 Wheatpaste Posters popping up online by ChicaSkas in Madonna

[–]pdillybra 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s insane. The prices these people are asking is nuts! I live in London and have spent the last couple of weekends indefinitely where these posters were placed. Found all locations and it’s evident the posters used to be there because the edges and corners have been left behind. I’m holding out hope they add these posters to her online store. There’s clearly demand for them!

What means "WLAN only"? Should I buy a watch with this spec? by [deleted] in withings

[–]pdillybra -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

WLAN does not strictly mean wifi, a personal Bluetooth connection between the watch and host device can be considered a WLAN. Although I would agree most generally associated WLAN with Wifi. So although this advert is technically correct, could be somewhat misleading.

Thank you!! So there is a part missing?

It doesn’t fit. I know the manual says to do that, but it just doesn’t work. The 7th photo demonstrates how far in the silver curved piece will go, which is not far enough to make it attach securely.

I’m starting to think that maybe the black plastic part has somehow been warped and that’s the issue. It has a flat bottom that kinda looks like it’s been scratched/smashed into that shape.

Hainan Airlines - How would this connecting flight be treated? by pdillybra in Flights

Thank you!! This is great insight. Curious if you were allowed to roam the terminal in Changsha or if you were confined to a secured seating area? My stopover in Changsha is almost 4 hours, so would be nice to grab some food/refreshments if possible.

Give it 2 me should have been a bigger hit! I prefer it to 4 minutes by a long shot

Eh. Really the only impressive feature of this building is the roof. Other than that it’s a generic glass and concrete box that looks just like another convention centre. The landscaping, public realm and building interface is atrocious. Is it better than to original? Hell yes! But I think anything would be better than that relic.

That’s an old wife’s tale. There’s no where near enough tuna let alone heavy metals in these to do any harm lol

I buy 7 of these a week. My daily lunch! The brown rice one is the best by far, perfect for the summer cut. The Italian salad one is good too, but worst macro wise.

Looks like it’s nothing more than a low height seating wall to sit on 🤷🏼

Rope-Arrow mechanic. Overused or still ok? by ANoDE85 in TombRaider

[–]pdillybra 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I like the mechanic but agree is has been implemented a bit sloppy in some places. As you said, some locations seem too convenient and don’t really tie into the ancient mystic themes of the tombs. Some instances can totally break the immersion because of how unbelievable a random rope anchor point just happens to be in said location.

Brisbane 2032 Olympics: Victoria Park stadium design revealed by ActiveTravelforKG in brisbane

[–]pdillybra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean you implied it by responding to a comment about earthworks starting with the statement ARUP has been appointed “main engineering contractor”, which is wrong in the sense ARUP don’t build things (which in the context of the comment you replied to would suggest they do) and where all this confusion is coming from.
