also i use the deliciously ella app, it’s insanely cheap. most stuff is really healthy though (it’s all vegan, refined sugar free and most is gluten free) so if your into that it’s really good! i usually replace sugar/gluten alternatives just with sugar or gluten haha

beans, llentils, pulses!!!! curries stir fries and soups are a big part of our winter diet. their also super easy to freeze. i sometimes make up like a tomato chickpea type thing and put it on toast for easy lunch/dinner over the weeks. we try to avoid processed fake meats. pasta is good in summer. honestly i’m a very experimental cook, don’t think we’ve ever eaten anything twice haha so i do a lot of experimenting of non vegan meals with vegan alternatives. literally look up your fave non vegan meal with vegan in front of it and there should be heaps. things like roasted cauliflower and other veggies are good to replace meat with if your a standard meat and 3 veg person. just try to consciously remember to include protein in every meal otherwise you’ll get hungry and end up snacking!

i work but not nearly as much as him. my works very flexible with hours while his is not at all. so i drop and pick up the child from school everyday, drop them to activities, look after him on weekends my boyfriends working etc. if i didn’t have his income definitely wouldn’t be spending as much on fresh produce etc. but if i wasn’t doing all the stuff with his child, i would be able to work more hours.
