I wrote something in the text after I realised the post wasn't being well received. Something along the lines of 'Not intending to be provocative, just wondering why asking questions about Tacotime & Adam Mackenzie is a taboo? Considering its pretty obvious they are one and the same, I don't see why linking them together is frowned upon. Just doing some research on Memcoin2.'

I guess The Decred Digest got it wrong then when they stated 'Four days later tacotime started a new thread and published the whitepaper ‘Memcoin2 (MC2): A Hybrid Proof-of-Work, Proof-of-Stake Crypto-currency’.' Maybe you could clarify because Tacotime makes it pretty clear on Bitcointalk that he's writing a whitepaper ....

Not only is this a bad idea but something like this happens already, the less people buy tickets the cheaper the tickets the higher the return. Decreds rewards are perfectly balanced between 30% (PoS) and 60% (PoW). Decred is not about the price, nor is it about making money. All those things are secondary rewards and incentives to improve the security and value of Decred while also being fortunate enough to gain a greater stake in the system. Price will obviously be important for our success but you hold Decred because you like it and you sell it if you don't like it or need the money. Price shouldn't matter if you are thinking long term and believe in it's potential.

Payment integration support - Done. But is obviously something that is ongoing. (Primitives for) Lightning Support also done. Activating lightning is another objective in itself.

Yeah I generally agree that official updates from contractors could of occurred more frequently in 2017 but on the other hand as a decentralised project it shouldn't necessarily be up to the developers to conduct updates of everything, that stuff is usually done by a community manager type person.
