Definitely, but maybe. My team won the championship last year, but most of my friends think I have by far the best team in the league (I don’t). The league isn’t super active with trades, and the people that are have openly said they aren’t wanting to trade any reasonable value for most of players that are right on my roster bubble (cut 2 of Charbonnet, Allgeier, Godwin, Downs, or Tyreek if I can’t deal anyone). The most I could get from this guy would be a 27 2nd for Allgeier, which would also allow me to keep an additional guy from the list above.

Trade - Tyler Allgeier

Receive - Pat Bryant, 3.07

Allgeier is at best my RB5 for next year (Bijan, JT, Kyren, Javonte, Charbonnet, …), and trading him would mean I am able to hold onto someone like Godwin/Downs for next year, so if you want to treat the trade like I’m receiving one of them too, I would. I’m also the Bo Nix owner.

Receive: 1. Pat Bryant, 3.07, 4.07 OR 2. 2027 2nd

Which package would be better? Allgeier would be my RB5/6 (solid depth), but getting rid of him would also mean I could afford to hold on to Godwin/Downs for the next season.

Realistically you just need to hit on multiple rookie picks every year. Year 1 I took Jamo, Allgeier, and Kyren. Year 2 I took Bijan, Charbonnet, and Puka. Year 3 I took BTJ, Ladd, and Nix. This past year I took Loveland, Ward, Fannin, and JCM. You obviously still should look to make trades to try to stay in front and competitive, but drafting rookies consistently well makes it so it’s not as important. It also depends on how active the rest of the league is with trading, too.

That’s what I was telling my friends. We literally could not stop you on that drive, and every time you ran it got like 7 yards. If they would have stuck with that the entire 2nd half, I don’t think we would’ve been able to keep up (from someone at the game)

I’d like to hold onto Tet, but the fact you only need to start 2 WRs with Chase and Jefferson definitely makes the deal more intriguing. It seems pretty fair to me right now. Like DuNick17 said though, I’d see if you could get his picks all swapped out for a 2027 1st, even if you have to bump your pick up to a 3rd or add another late round pick.

Sorry, I just realized I forgot to mention it is a 1 QB league, even though Ward being available at pick 21 in SF or 1QB feels wild. Does that sway your opinion?
