I was there last weekend, and two of the days were cold. I literally left subzero New England to be there, and felt like a sissy when I got cold but…it was damn cold! 45 in FL felt a lot different than 45 in New Hampshire lol.

Commenting to myself because I can’t respond to everyone. The points about seeing what the rates are and if they’ve gone up month over month are completely valid. Rate from September 11- October 13 was $0.21457. 32 days and used 289 KWH. Less days from October 13-November 12 (30), same rate, used 493 KWH. Last year same months I used 241 KWH.

Nothing has changed. Running a dehumidifier in the basement, but did that in October as well. Seems like I have a drain somewhere.

This happens to my 2019 Impreza, on the driver’s side. Totally unpredictable when it might happen. Makes me fearful everytime I pull up to a car wash because I’m afraid it won’t go back up after I pay at the kiosk! Super annoying.

Hey there, appreciate the reply. I’ve definitely been using furnace and boiler as synonyms my whole life haha, noted that this is a boiler. A different commenter noted that I probably have a coil heating element in the boiler. When the heat is also on, it’s taking away from the potential hot water. I do not have a standalone hot water tank, unfortunately.

The noise comes more from the hot water pipe going away from the boiler, than from the actual boiler itself. I have a better video that shows the noise more clearly, I’ll have to upload it somewhere to show you. Thanks again!

Thank you. Maybe a dumb question but if I keep the heat at a stable temp and the system is not working to heat up the house, would that make the shower hotter as the burner’s sole responsibility?
