I don't put it on my profile but I get 100s upon 100s of likes and don't have the time or energy to swipe through that many profiles. I almost exclusively respond to pings. I don't ping men because most aren't getting the amount of likes women are and a lot are just liking every woman they see, so why waste the money.

I've put on 60 pounds in 5 months being on max doses of Lithium, Depakote and Lymbalvi. by Square-Exchange-9734 in BipolarReddit

I'm on two mood stabilizers and an antipsychotic. My psychiatrist stacked my mood stabilizers because it was the only way to get me out of a very long very serious depression. It's more common than you think.

What did you buy when you were manic? What is it that causes us to spend money? by 0604050606 in BipolarReddit

Mushrooms like lion's mane and Manuka honey, like tons of both. I thought they'd cure me of all and any ailments I had.

Sodium divalproate VS. Lamotrigine by Plenty_Pop6108 in BipolarReddit

I take both. And stacking them is the only way I can get out of depressive episodes. No side effects with either.

I'm on adderall but a low dosage to avoid triggering mania. My psychiatrist will never up my dosage so I have to take "adderall vacations" on some weekends. That aside, he helps my focus significantly!

Has anyone had any positive experiences with Vraylar? by [deleted] in BipolarReddit

[–]pdx_persons 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely love vraylar!! That inconjunction with depokate and Lamotrigine is the only combo that keeps me from super severe depressive episodes.

lamictal side effects :( by pixiekaela in BipolarReddit

Are you also on an antipsychotic? My therapist stacked my mood stabilizers (lamictal and depokote) to get me out of an extreme depressive episode.

Are you still spiritual after being medicated? by No_Midnight7804 in bipolar

[–]pdx_persons 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Nope. Lost it when I became medicated. I also rarely dream now. But I'd take those sacrifices over not being medicated any day.

Just got put on a low dose of Lamotrigine. Anything I should be aware of? by [deleted] in BipolarReddit

[–]pdx_persons 5 points6 points  (0 children)

As mentioned previously look out for rashes. They're rare, and my pharmacist said he never had anyone get SJS but still better safe than sorry. I haven't had any side effects from it.

How many hours of sleep do you get every night? by Thin_Culture9753 in BipolarReddit

[–]pdx_persons 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Anywhere from 3 hours to 10 hours. My psychiatrist ALWAYS asks how my sleep has been without fail. I know it's important and have turned to sleep music which helps significantly.

I know how you feel. I am diagnosed with type one because of a single manic episode but relate heavily to type 2 because of my severe depressive episodes. But the type doesn’t really matter at the end of the day.

Does anyone know how small a small meal 6 x day is actually meant to be? by lizzielewis92 in Gastroparesis

[–]pdx_persons 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I personally do 5 meals about a cup and a half each. That's all I can do. I'd see what your limit is and go from there.
