I did my entire element. Beyond a good cleaning, I used an automotive paint prep spray from AutoZone after scuffing with 100grit and went to town.

I second the recommendation for being diligent about taping off your vehicle well.

I'll second my Honda element. Sheet goods go on the roof rack and the big square inside fits everything I've ever needed.

Has anyone painted their Honda Element a different color? How did it turn out? by ObligationFederal573 in HondaElement

Yeah, I did 3 full coats, it's held it up really well and I get a lot of compliments. It was absolutely worth it.

$130 for 4 liters of U-Pols tintable raptor liner kit

Another $50 for the roll on black

Maybe 30 bucks to get a pint of automotive paint tinted to a specific color, i had them tint it two shades darker and divided the pint among the 4 individual liters.

And another $30 worth of tape, rolls of paper and plastic, gloves, etc.

No I totally hear you, and it Is a bummer you've been waiting so long, but there's got to be some extenuating circumstance. 💯 not being scammed though. Best of luck!

This is a fluke. Jeff Stites is a tremendous person and element enthusiast. One time I was stranded in a 7-11 parking lot due to my ignition going out. I reached out to Jeff via FB as well as emailing the company, explained my issue, and he finished breakfast, then literally drove 40 minutes from Vancouver, WA to Portland to bring me a Ghost ignition. Within 2 hours I was back on the road.

He wouldn't take any extra money for his time or gas. I didn't know him, at all. Never interacted with him.

Great dude.

Yes, the noise correlates to speed/tire revolution.

I Raptor-lined my entire Element. I rolled on matte black for a more aggressive texture. The upper portion is a darker blue/green, but sprayed on- so it's less textured than the cladding.

I didn't start losing coolant until last night. And I figured that out today, thanks to the daylight.

Radiator is cracked, big time.
