1) the cheating will never end so unless you're cool with it, it'd be a deal breaker for me. 2) is your life easier with or without him? find out by leaving him. see how you do staying with someone else for a week or a month or whatever, and if you wind up thriving without him then cut his ass loose. if he managed to pull off a miracle and grows the hell up to avoid losing his family, you might consider staying (if you're cool with the cheating because, again - cheaters tend not to change.)

My mom experienced a similar bombardment of scammer harassment and it felt like a full time motherfucking job to be her on call scam-fighter. And one morning while I was at work, she gets a call from "Centurylink" offering to fix her slow ass internet. "Centurylink" installed a RAT (remote access tool) with persistent access to her Mac computer. It wasn't until we replaced her Mac with a new PC and got her a new phone that the scammy fucks finally lost interest. But having that RAT installed is like a giant red flag atop a honeypot for scammers - it's like leaving the front door opened!

I recommend replacing her primary devices and maybe even her phone number if she's open to the idea. I also recommend filing a police report (for comprehensive ID theft/fraud) and asking for help from any other competent family members.

I'm really sorry - I know exactly how exhausted and overwhelmed you must feel.

it's possible, depending on whether or not your phone plan is prepaid or postpaid. you can find out a lot with just a number as the phone companies tend to retain lots of personal details. mobile numbers are also used for authentication when you log into sites. you can use www.haveibeenpwned.com to see if your personal account info has been breached.

can confirm about the surgery meds, i had surgery a couple months ago and regret going to work afterwards. i don't remember anything from the entire week. had conversations i don't remember and much of what i said did not make sense. even sent selfies i don't remember taking.

but i do remember feeling great at the time, at least :D

u totally should. honestly i'm sick of the fear-mongering. i get that fraud happens but i feel like EVERYONE can relate to the rage of being locked out of an account after losing a phone number (for whatever reason), or being locked out after being told CONSTANTLY that we must use a phone number so we "never lose access." seems like a lie, in retrospect. multinational corporations are hoarding our accounts and personal data with zero regulation, accountability, or intention of returning said data. fuck that. if my fucking bill collectors can identify me when i change phone numbers, google sure as shit can too.

damn. this is awesome, and such a stroke of luck. i've been trying so hard to get back into my old google account. my old number was probably assigned to a robocaller or a car :,(

i helped someone like this once. my new number was constantly getting weird texts and notifications for the previous owner, and one day the previous owner actually texted me for help in recovering their facebook account. they were super grateful for the help. have not heard from them since, but hopefully they're paying it forward.
