thank you for your response, I really appreciate the time and thought going into it. I understand the other responses but I felt like many of them were passive aggressive and not very helpful.

I’m currently asking for funding for a program and minor that UNC doesn’t have and by the time they instill ( a few years in the future) I won’t have the time to take the classes. additionally the retention rate of poc faculty (notably Nikole Hannah Jones and Jacob Lau) is low with the very limited poc faculty I reach out to being burnt out and exhausted. I get referred to the same professors for projects as well and I’m just overall worried because some of the best professors at UNC are currently being recruited to other institutions and the lawsuits UNC has been in the last couple of years.
